of Abstracts

Abstract Preparation

Before you begin, please prepare the following information and follow this rules:
  • Presenting author's contact details; include full mailing address and mobile phone number
  • Presentation type preference (oral, poster, video).
  • To allow efficient handling of the abstracts, the authors are requested to provide a topic:
  • Author and co-authors' names: full name (e.g. Carl Smith).
  • Affiliation details of all authors: Department; Institution/Hospital; City; State/Province (if relevant); Country

For authors from different departments/institutions, designate with number in parenthesis immediately following author's last name (e.g., X. X. (1)), and use same parenthesis number immediately
preceding institution name (e.g., (1) Dept. of XXX, University of XXX, City, (Country)).

Abstracts should contain TEXT ONLY (no Tables, Figures, Graphs), and must be in English.
Abstract title – must be in UPPER CASE and is limited to 25 words.
Abstract text – limited to 2500 characters  including acknowledgements.
Abstracts should be as informative as possible and must use the following structured format:

  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.
We recommend using word-processing software (for example Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words. Typing your text directly into the field is not recommended:
a: You will not be able to see the abstract after pressing the Submit button b: You will not receive a copy of your abstract so please save your abstract according on your own.


Rules for Submission

Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
Notification of abstract acceptance and format will be announced on Notification Letter of Acceptance sent by email to the Author. The choice of format will be made by the Scientific Committee.
Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered Participants.
Each Participant is allowed to present only ONE abstract, but can be listed as co-authors on multiple abstracts. Any subsequent duplicate entries will be disqualified.
Abstracts must be submitted using the online form; abstracts submitted in any other format (fax, mail, email) will not be accepted.

Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract publication in the official Congress Abstract Book.
Abstracts must be original and must not represent previously published work.
All authors and co-authors are required to submit a Conflict of Interest/financial disclosure statement.

Contributions can be only submitted using the online submission procedure. No scientific contributions sent either by fax or email will be accepted.

Please Note: Inclusion in the Scientific Program depends on having registered by the early registration deadline, February, 28, 2020.


Disclosure

Disclosure of financial relationships, that the author(s) may have with any manufacturer/supplier of any commercial products or services  related to the work, must be indicated in the appropriate box on the online abstract submission form. Disclosures will be included in the published version of the abstracts.
